Kristi Curry Rogers is a vertebrate paleontologist most interested in the evolutionary history and paleobiology of dinosaurs.  Her research program is focused on understanding dinosaur anatomy, evolution, and paleobiology.  In addition to fieldwork and museum research around the globe, she is particularly interested in the evolutionary history of the long-necked dinosaurs known as sauropods. Kristi utilizes bone histology to explore and reconstruct patterns of the evolution of body size, growth rates, and life history strategies among dinosaurs, their living relatives, and their modern analogues.  She is jointly appointed in the Geology Department  and teaches a selection of courses including:  (1) Biodiversity and Evolution (BIOL 270), (2) Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy (BIOL 394); (3) Dinosaurs (GEOL 101); and (4) Vertebrate Paleobiology and Evolution.

Current Courses:
BIOL170 Biodiversity & Evolution
