Lei Chen is the Chinese lab instructor for all levels of Mandarin Chinese.  She comes to Macalester with experience at Mount Holyoke College and the China Studies Institute at Peking University.  She has a BA in Teaching Chinese from Yantai University and a Master in Education from Beijing Language and Culture University.   Leila’s special interests include second language acquisition, second language teaching, and cognitive psychology.
