This link downloads the Wintropy program used in the General Chemistry Sequence (Windows platform only). It models possible microstates in defined systems. |

This link points to an online version of Wintropy, which we call Webtropy. (It's slower than the application version, but it runs on any platform). |
Lesser Chemistry Programs (we don't consider these as useful as the alternatives above, but they may be the only choice off-campus)
- Chemistry Formatter and Add-ins
Free software that formats text-form chemical equations and exponents, making it easier to insert them into Microsoft Office documents. - Advanced Chemistry Development Labs
Makers of several chemistry-related drawing and visualization applications, including ChemSketch, a tool for drawing chemical structures which includes proton and C-13 NMR viewers. They also offer a 3D molecule viewer that aids in the visualization of chemical compounds.
