Macalester Stormwater Management

This website contains information regarding Macalester College's current stormwater situation. We propose different solutions and best management practices (BMPs) in order to maximize Macalester's water usage, while improving sustainability and making Macalester a more environmentally friendly campus. We are comitted to lowering costs attributed to stormwater at Macalester. This website contains a basic overview of stormwater, the costs associated with Macalester's water use and stormwater fines, current technologies and management practices that could possibly benefit the campus, as well as our own recommendations about what Macalester can do to find the most cost-effective solutions in terms of stormwater management.
