Genevieve Yue received her Ph.D. in 2012 from the Critical Studies program at the School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California. She is an editor of Discourse: Journal for Theoretical Studies in Media and Culture, and her essays and criticism have appeared in Reverse Shot, Film Comment, Cinema Scope, Artforum.com, and Film Quarterly. Her research interests include American experimental film and video, contemporary East Asian cinema, and media history and theory. In fall 2012, she will be teaching "Experimental Film and Video."
