Jay is the Associate editor & arts editor at the TC Daily Planet.  With colleagues, he has published several academic research articles and a book,Reconstructing the University (Stanford University Press, 2006). He is also the author of Sociology for Dummies (Wiley, 2010) and a revised edition of theInsiders' Guide to the Twin Cities (Globe Pequot Press, 2010).
