A variety of state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities are available to Physics and Astronomy faculty and students to pursue research and projects.  Much of this equipment has come from the more than 1.3 million dollars in external grant money raised by department faculty since 1997.  The Science Division is also supported by a full time instrumentation technician with a well-equiped machine and electronics shop, and a full time scientific computer specialist.
