At Risk?

Many people, as they learn about schizophrenia, wonder about whether or not they are at risk. As science is still uncertain about what exactly causes schizophrenia, there is no simple answer to this question. The overall societal rate for schizophrenia is approximately 1-4 percent, but there are certain factors that seem to increase a personís risk. This section presents a brief outline of what the known risk factors seem to be.
