Cheryl is a professional actor who has taught Acting, Period Styles and Voice & Speech at Macalester for over 10 years. She places an emphasis on character study and textual analysis, and teaches from a variety of methods, deeply grounded in Stanislavski and the practical work of Uta Hagen. Brinkley is also a director and professional voice and performance teacher in the Twin Cities.
