What is Urban Studies?
The Urban Studies interdepartmental concentration is designed for students who major in a variety of disciplines and are interested in urbanization and wish to gain an interdisciplinary perspective on city life.
Experiential learning is an important component of the Urban Studies major. Students are encouraged to participate in at least one internship and are encouraged to further explore urban issues through additional internships or through community service.
