Information
for Principal Investigators
Before conducting any
research using animals from ACS, students must complete training in the
husbandry and care of animals, submit a health history, and have an IACUC-approved
protocol. A complete understanding of the Animal Care Manual
is also necessary for anyone using animals in research. Animals
and access to the facility for students may be completed using the electronic
forms found on the left. For more information on these procedures,
see the FAQs. Card access can be activated immediately upon receipt
of all necessary forms. Key access generally takes at least 3 business
days. See the Animal Order Form for more information on order deadlines
and delivery dates.
