Development Alumni Business Process Flow Scenario

 

1.     For prospective student who may be child of alum

a.     show how that relationship is recorded and accessible by Development and Alumni/ae staff

b.     How linkage made to alumÕs record

2.     Once student is admitted, show how information regarding studentÕs family relationships, parentsÕ occupation, and address(es) etc. is recorded and accessible .by Development and Alumi/ae staff.

3.     Once students are enrolled demonstrate:

a.     Generation of a report and mailing to all parents of current students registered for choir (or some course), before and after some students drop the course.

b.     Tracking for development contacts with parents

c.     Linkage of students receiving scholarships to scholarship donor records

d.     Linkage of student status so Development can solicit seniors for senior gift, etc.

e.     Tracking  studentÕs involvement in campus activities so Alumni & Parent services can contact parents of womenÕs track team, theater majors, etc.

f.      How records are moved to alumni/ae and development systems

i.      Upon graduation

ii.     Upon leaving without graduating

4.     After students leave institution show how:

a.     Marriage of  two alums is recorded

b.     Birth of a child recorded

c.     Receipt of donation is recorded from receipt through to entry into general ledger if is received and processed by:

i.      Development Office

ii.     Business Office
