HUMAN RESOURCES/PAYROLL BUSINESS PROCESS FLOW SCENARIOS

 

1.     Scenario I of II:

Demonstrate from the application process through the first paycheck how your system would process an individual who is serving part-time as a non-exempt staff member in a 10-month position and part-time in a faculty role. Specifically how would the system assign, record, and track the following information for each position:

á      Demographics (name, address, birth date, EEO, VISA information, etc.)

á      Salaries, both separately and in aggregate

á      Status

á      Normal Work Week

á      Months Worked

á      Months Paid

á      Salary Grade

á      Benefits (health, dental, life, retirement, etc.)

á      Time Benefits (vacation, holiday, sick, etc.)

á      Housing Allowance

á      Funding from three budget numbers one of which is a grant

á      Taxes (is a default available for new hires?)

á      Multiple supervisors (one for each position)

á      FTE per position

á      FTE total for employee

 

2.     Scenario II of II:

Demonstrate from the application process through the first paycheck how your system would process an individual who is serving in two part-time staff positions, both of which are non-exempt. Specifically how would the system assign, record, and track the following information for each position:

á      Salaries, both separately and in aggregate

á      Normal Work Week

á      Months Worked

á      Months Paid

á      Salary Grade

á      Process overtime at different rates

á      Benefits (health, dental, life, retirement, etc.)

á      Multiple Time Benefit Levels (vacation, holiday, sick, etc.)

á      Housing Allowance

á      Funding from four different budgets

á      Taxes (is a default available for new hires?)

á      Multiple supervisors (one for each position)
