Research opportunities at Mac are structured to provide valuable experience as graduates enter the workplace or apply for graduate programs.
More than 90 students receive research grants to work with professors each summer. Others take part in research during the academic year, funded by one of many government or foundation grants that faculty members have received.
Students often co-publish research results with their professors and present papers at national conferences.
