Check in at Weyerhaeuser Hall (62 Macalester Street) on the second floor. Luggage may be stored in the Admissions Office on the first floor for the afternoon. Enjoy light refreshments while you listen to music from Macalester's folk ensemble Flying Fingers. The Admissions Office will be open until 8:00 p.m. this evening.

Dean of Admissions Lorne Robinson, a Macalester faculty member and Macalester's student government president will be among the first to welcome you to Macalester.

Parents are invited to meet Macalester faculty and staff members over light hors d'oeuvres
6 p.m. Neighborhood Tour
The bus will leave from the Admissions Office
Parents are invited to take a bus tour of Saint Paul's historic Summit Avenue.
(Transportation to St. Paul hotels will be provided for parents after the neighborhood tour.)
7:30-8:30 p.m. Ice Cream Van Run to Grand Old Creamery
Vans will leave from the Admissions Office
Enjoy a complimentary ice cream at a Grand Avenue institution.

Get an introduction to the "nuts and bolts" of academic life at Mac by the Dean of Academic Programs Ellen Guyer.
The schedule for the remaining portion of the program will be divided into five sessions beginning at 9:40 a.m., 10:50 a.m., Noon, 1:10 p.m. and 2:20 p.m
You may choose from campus tours, class visits, informational sessions with academic departments and different offices on campus, or drop in to a professor's open office hours and get your questions answered. A specific schedule of these options will be available at Sampler registration.

to learn more about the varsity programs as well as
junior varsity, club and intramural sports. A presentation
will guide you through the many sports opportunities
at Mac as well as provide you with an overview for the
new athletics and recreation center.

Engage in a Q&A session with a panel of current students. There will be separate panels for students and parents.

This is a great meeting place for students and parents at the end of the program. Stop by to mingle with other prospective students and parents. Admissions staff members will be on hand for any last questions.
