Now that we've been here more than a month, we've been thinking holistically as to our experience up to this point. We tried asking around for answers by interrogating (more or less) our fellow first-year students for thoughts and stories. We recorded an array of responses...
"I'm not exactly sure what kind of people I expected to meet here. Most everyone is a bit strange, but I mean that in a good way. People are genuinely fascinating and intriguing, and are likewise fascinated and intrigued by the most surprising of topics."
- Emilie Schur "I saw a boy chase a squirrel all the way from Grand Avenue to Summit. It was nuts."
- Sara Gottlieb "And as just another person on campus, I enjoy the aesthetics of the buildings and lawns, the resources available, and, most importantly: the company of 2000 interesting, intellectual, talented people. Macalester is wonderful."
