Go to the Wish List Google Doc by clicking on the link below and choose an individual to adopt. Fill in your name in the "Adopter" column.
THANK YOU to all who adopted a family member. We were able to adopt everyone and the YWCA and the families in their program thank you for your generous donations.
A few things to remember:
- You are not expected to purchase everything on the list. Two or three gifts is fine. See guidelines on first page.
- Include receipts or gift receipts when possible.
- Mark your bag or gift very clearly with the family member name, age and family number..
- Deliver your gifts to Brenda Piatz in the Academic Programs Office, second floor, Weyerhaeuser Hall (there is an elevator near the Macalester Street entrance).
- Deadline is noon WEDNESDAY, DEC. 7.
To all who are participating in this program for 2011, thank you on behalf of 14 grateful families.
This is a project in which staff members and faculty at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota,
provide gifts for families in the Transitional Housing Program of the St. Paul YWCA. We also thank staff, students and faculty at St. Thomas University Law School and Fish and Richardson, P.C. for adopting several families each year.
If you have found our web site and live in another community, we suggest you contact your area United Way to find families to assist.
