Panelist Bios - Brian Bull ’91
Assistant News Director at Wisconsin Public Radio in Madison
Brian is currently the assistant news director for Wisconsin Public Radio, a statewide network that regularly provides news, talk, and musical programming. He got hooked on the radio bug while a classical music host on WMCN, and through internships at Minnesota Public Radio, PBS, and National Public Radio. His stories have touched on race relations, rural development, free speech, and social issues affecting communities of color. He's received numerous awards for his reporting from the Associated Press, Radio-Television News Directors Association, and the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA). Every summer he participates in a joint training project between NPR and NAJA, to train in young and aspiring reporters from tribal communities.
