"As Long As We Both Shall Live: Long-Married Couples in America" photo exhibit

Since 1997, actor, author and photographer Robert Fass ’81 has been traveling the United States with a 30-year-old Nikon and a tape recorder, interviewing and photographing American couples who have been married for 40 years or longer. The resulting study, As Long As We Both Shall Live, received international media attention when it was exhibited recently at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. Fass gave a well-received lecture at Macalester this summer during reunion weekend and the exhibition is now gathering even more acclaim as it travels through Germany and Austria. Fass will be at the exhibit’s opening reception 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20.
