The Exonerated at Mixed Blood Theater
Thursdays-Sundays, March 2-18
Mixed Blood Theatre, 1501 S. 4th St., Minneapolis
Show Times: 8 p.m., Thursday, Friday, Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets: $18-20. Call the Mixed Blood Theater box office at (612) 338-6131 for reservations.
Frank Theatre presents The Exonerated directed by Wendy Knox and co-written by Jessica Blank '97 and Eric Jensen. The performance tells the true stories of six people who spent from two to 22 years on Death Row for crimes they did not commit. Everyday people, in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Folks who made the wrong comment to the wrong person. People who didn’t
have the resources to navigate the American criminal justice system. The script is culled from actual interviews,
letters, transcripts, case files, and the public record, resulting in a
riveting and compelling evening of theatre. Actors include Professor Harry Waters, Jr., Theater & Dance, Sha Cage ’95, and Professor Emeritus Warren C. Bowles.

Are you right brained, left brained, or both? Often the art in academia is overlooked, yet there is a very notable aesthetic component to science -- from detailed anatomical illustrations to aerial photography, from naturally occurring rock formations to microscopic patterns in the elements of nature. Stimulate both sides of your brain in Altered Esthetics gallery’s March exhibit "Scientific Aesthetics." A series of fractal prints by visual artist Heather Baldwin ’99, along with work by other artists, will be displayed and available for sale in this exhibit.
