Author Sun Yung Shin ’95 is a featured artist at Geographies of Our Own: New Visions in Korean Transnational Art, presented by AKA.
Her latest book of poems is Skirt Full of Black (2007, Coffee House Press) and she was co-editor of Outsiders Within: Writing on Transracial Adoption (2006, South End Press). This event is hosted by Tom Hudson and also features artists Jane Jin Kaisen, Lee Kerrick and Jennifer Kwon Dobbs.

Authors Sun Yung Shin ’95 and Matthew Shenoda read their works at A Gathering of the Tribes — an arts and cultural organization dedicated to excellence in the arts from a diverse perspective that was started as an informal salon by poet, playwright, novelist and retired City University professor Steve Cannon. Sun Yung’s latest book of poems is Skirt Full of Black (2007, Coffee House Press).
