Join alumni and friends to see the Macalester production of 'Tartuffe' and enjoy a pre-show reception with the production's director Professor Harry Waters, Jr. Set in Paris of 1698, a con man, Tartuffe, has convinced the master of the house that he will save their souls by guiding them to lives of austerity and prosperity. Reception begins at 1 p.m. in the Fine Arts Lounge; performance begins at 2 p.m. in the MainStage Theatre. $8 per person, includes ticket and reception. The director advises that due to some sexual themes, this play may not be suitable for children 13 and younger. Email Stephen Sporer for more information.
