Macalester Alumni Connect in the City is Oct. 2, 2014

Macalester's 5th annual evening of worldwide alumni events is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014. MAC in the City (Macalester Alumni Connect in the City) is an opportunity for alumni, whether new to a region or lifelong residents, to meet each other, reflect upon their shared experiences cultivated by their education at Macalester, and share insights about the resources of their city.     Join alumni in London to hear Dr. Ibrahim Salama present Human Rights Diplomacy: inside the United Nations at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The lecture will be held in the Sheikh Zayed Theatre in the New Academic Building. Following the lecture, alumni are invited for dinner and conversation at The India Club. Dr. Salama is director of the Human Rights Treaties Division in the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. The lecture is free and open to all with no ticket or pre-registration required. Entry is on a first come, first served basis.
