The women were pranksters too!
We played so many "pranks" on each other in the dorm—clear fingernail polish on soap, taping doors and filling inside with newspaper, Vaseline on doorknobs, short sheeting (once a group of us short sheeted a bed at the Turk's open house)... and there was more! I also remember the "Fish Bowl" in Wally foyer at curfew, Wally Hall fire drills and the Tartan Troupers!

Snipe hunting, revisited
(See Al Godfrey's version of this story)
If you were in Professor Jones' Nature Study class, you would remember my snipe hunting excursion in Whitewater State Park. A visiting professor from Germany and I were told to go into the woods with gunnysacks to snare snipe while the rest of the group flushed them up. We knew there was such a bird, but we weren't sure about them living in woods or being caught in sacks. After coming to our "senses," the professor and I sneaked out of the woods. Back at the cabin, we listened to the others repeatedly yelling, "Get ready, here they come." We all had a good laugh when they returned.
