Running laps in the old gym
I remember showing up late to an 8 a.m. physical education class at the old gymnasium. Before the class started, we were supposed to run four laps around the track that went around the gym on the top. I was late and therefore couldn't run the laps. Dr. David Primrose, knowing that I hadn't run a lap, asked me how many laps I had run. I answered 16 laps. He said that was fine and you have set a wonderful example for the rest of the class.

The old library
The building in which I worked is no longer the college library. A few years ago, I attended a seminar in the old library building. Going there was truly a sentimental journey- many things had changed, but there was enough left of the old that I could almost see Miss Edith Jones, Mrs. Kathryn Blackwell, and the students with whom I worked with there.
