Being president of Cosmo Club
Cosmopolitan Club provided many memories and friendships and a satisfying experience as its president my senior year. Philip Ahn and his brother Sam, Phil Wei and his sister Genievive, Akram Abuzied, Surrender Singh, Junki Marouka, John Sanchez and his wife, Boris Rogosin ’55, and many more whose friendship and camaraderie I remember and treasure, but whose names elude me after more than 50 years.

Cosmopolitan Club helped me through
Mid freshman year, while studying international law in Sweden, my older brother died from an injection intended to stop hair loss. I had joined Cosmopolitan Club to meet foreign students and it was they who helped me through this difficult time. One with whom I kept contact was Philip Ahn ’57, who died recently. He sang at our wedding and had hoped to attend our 50th anniversary celebration in December.
