The usual stuff — work, family and the occasional holiday. Enjoying the experience of seeing my 4-year-old daughter emerge from toddler-hood into being a (nearly) school age kid.

I've also been heavily into genealogy the past few years. Hey, I recently learned some of my ancestors came from Scotland, living in of all places, Sweden!

My Mac Memories: Too many to count, really. But a few I'll mention... Springfest, the big Grand Avenue Snowball fight, Professor Slowinski teaching analytical chemistry in ’79, and Nuclear and Radiochemistry elective senior year with just me, Jim Randazzo ’82 and Prof. Wolsey — that was fun!

I am currently in my sixth year of teaching middle school and my second year in the Palo Alto Unified School District, teaching art, creative writing, and computer technology at Jordan Middle School in Palo Alto. 

I moved to the Bay Area in 1997 and have had a sculpture studio in San Francisco’s Hunters Point Shipyard for almost ten years now.  
My wife Beth and I recently celebrated 22 years together.  We met at The American Stage in St. Petersburg, a second home to several Mac grads including Neil DeGroot ’81, Joanne Johnson ’82 and Brian Turner ’81.

I regret that, because of inflexible plans that arose after I initially signed up to attend, I now have to change my answer to "Can't make it." I wish the conflict could have be avoided, but down payments have been made and travel plans set, taking me away from St. Paul instead of toward it. ... But I hope to hear a great time was had by all who do make it! Best wishes to all of the Class of ’82.
