I live in Milwaukee, Wis., with my 12-year-old daughter, Madeleine. I have been director of the Alliance Française de Milwaukee for nine years. My job puts keeps me in contact with the international community of the area.
I have recently become more involved with the nonprofit community of the area and more passionate about improving the quality of life in the community.
I regularly run into high school seniors planning to attend Macalester.
My Mac Memories:
- Freshman year on 4th floor Doty and the friends I made there.
- Dances (with the Flaming O's) in the Student Union.
- Study abroad in Avignon, France.
- Senior year at the Russian House.
I went to college and had such a great time that I never left. I am Vice President for Student Development at SUNY-Rockland and Chair of the Board of Trustees at American Public University System/American Military University.
Looking forward to staying on campus next June.
My Mac Memories: Painting crosswalks at midnight. Planting many seeds around the flag poll. A sit-in over fall break. A 36-hour trip to Detroit to protest draft registration. Sitting in the Student Union basement with George Case trying to figure out where the H. the Moo-Moo came from. Chuck Green at 8:00 a.m.
I am married and we have two children — Katie is a freshman at University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and Kyle is a sophomore at Mayo High School (Rochester, Minn.).
My Mac Memories:
4th Floor Turck; 2nd Floor Bigelow; Larry's Grocery; Husker Du; Talking Heads Floor Hockey; Beano; SpringFest; Great Blues Bands/Dances At The Student Union; Snowball Fight at Grand Ave; Keg Parties In Kirk Hall; Interim; Whop-A-Tooli Parties; Sid The Pirahna; Jed The Iguana; Allison The Tarantula; Shangoya; The Suburbs; AM Hog Report At Saga Saturday/Sunday Mornings; Timothy Leary Lecture Freshman Year; Keith Moon Memorial Kegger; Waiting In Dorm Room For Domino's Pizza Delivery.
