I live very close to Macalester with my husband Bill, son Edmund (10) and daughter Ying Ying (3). I've been a high school French teacher for 18 years.
My Mac Memories: Study abroad in Paris and Toulon changed my life.
I am currently living on the east side of Saint Paul with my wife and son — born in the summer of 2005. I work on the west side of the metro area in Hopkins at The Blake School as Director of Information Management.
I also am the Board President of the East Side Neighborhood Development Company. It’s mission is to create wealth and well-being in a thriving and engaged multi-cultural neighborhood.
My Mac Memories: I remember Dave Lanegran teaching about how wonderful and unique Saint Paul was as a city. This encouraged me to return to be part of the community.

Suggestion for Class Soundtrack:
"Dixie Chicken" by Little Feet
Because I loved dancing to it in the Student Union and hearing it in Wallace.
I'm a freelance writer doing a variety of work for educational publishers. I also write poetry, short stories and plays for the fun of it.
My Mac Memories: I enjoyed each year at Mac for different reasons, but Freshman year on second floor Wallace stands out as a time of making wonderful friends and having great, life-changing conversations.
