Finally! After six long years of patience in Sweden, I have finally "smuggled" my wife back Stateside with me. When G.W. was elected for a second term I shouted, "Four more years!" (in Sweden). But I couldn't wait that long... so now I am back in balmy Minnesota in January. Looking forward to hooking up with many old Mac friends before the reunion, otherwise let's party down in June!
My Mac Memories: The usual... Dorm life, challenging classes, parties, Trads... being young.

In May, my wife and I had our third son, Emeka Asim Yearwood, who is now 7.5 months old and roughly 23 lbs.
My Mac Memories: Having played on the football team that broke the long-standing losing streak, I remember winning our first game and celebrating with a fine meal from Kagin Commons.
I'm not sure I'll make the reunion this year, although I'd really like to - I'm in the Democratic Republic of Congo right now doing a research project on African pop music, and as of now am planning to be here until August 2007. When I come back to the U.S., I'll be finishing up a PhD in French at New York University, and will finally begin my long, illustrious life of wealth and prestige. Up until now, I've been doing the grad student thing, bouncing around to different schools, departments, and countries. It's been a great ride, though!
My Mac Memories: I'm actually missing the holiday-season weather, which was, of course, abundant at Mac (in Central Africa, it's 95 degrees and sweaty in late December)... remembering naked runs through the snow, the crazy end-of-semester time with exams, papers, and concerts all piling up at the same time, the Trads, the Sundberg Pharmacy, the pleasure of meeting someone and being sure you'd like them and that you'd run into them sometime on campus...
