Finished my MFA in Acting from West Virginia University in ’05. Got married to Kendra Ortner last year, and now I work professionally as an actor, director and drama teacher in Portland, Ore. It’s unlikely I can make it to our reunion. So many of you I'd love to see!
My Mac Memories:
I remember the QU dance our first year, maybe first semester. It was in Old Kagin, remember how you could crawl out the windows onto the balcony? We had a PF that weekend; he ended up shirtless on the balcony with about 50 of us. Balcony was always closed off after that.
And don't forget about the Peace camp out in front of the old Union. I loved the old Union, they made the best greasy fries ever... they had crazy spices on them.
And so many good times centered around the old Turck Stoop. (It's gone too isn't it?) I recall that there was a little tree covered with these big thorns. The Turck smokers proceeded to attach a cigarette butt to every thorn so that there was a beautiful cigarette tree in bloom just in time for Parents weekend.
And a shout out to Fairmount. Fond memories of fun times in the basement, crazy parties, and the catching the neighbor toddler boy eating cigarette butts off our lawn on a Sunday morning.
Love you Trads!
