I'm about to finish my degree in botany at U.C. Berkeley. Staying on the West Coast to teach high school science.
My Mac Memories: Trying to cover up those horrible Doty cinderblocks, scratching graffiti into the trays at Kagin, utilizing the Spotlight as an unparalleled stalking tool, Flutie, having "The Dangerous Pursuit of Knowledge" on my transcript for all eternity, Peace Camp, traversing the underground maze of connected dorms to hang out at WMCN, and that was just first year...
After Mac, I went to Chiapas, Mexico, for a while and then entered grad school. I finished my Masters degree in September in socio-cultural anthropology and am a doctoral student. I have been living in Santa Barbara, Calif., and then Los Angeles. While teaching and studying in Santa Barbara I met my partner, a professor in Los Angeles. Have a three-year-old boy and we have another on the way! Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
After a master’s in writing, I’m two years into veterinary medical school.

I just defended my organic chemistry dissertation on April 2 and will receive my doctorate at UNC's graduation ceremony on May 13. My husband and I are moving to Shreveport, La., where I will start an assistant professorship at Centenary College of Louisiana. I'm looking forward to the change and wish I could make it to the reunion, but will be in the process of moving.
My Mac Memories: Finishing cross country practice and running with the team to Kagin and stuffing ourselves before it closed. Mmmmmm, Kagin.
