Since I moved back into the Mac-mile from Indiana in May, my living room has been a hotel of choice for Mac friends. I had a packed house for a Mac wedding in June and friends crashing when they come into town for various other events. It's been great to have everyone around — and I can't wait to catch up with everyone else next summer!
My Mac Memories: Some of my favorite times at Mac were long walks to the river down Summit, which may have involved singing, dancing, laughing and wide-ranging conversation of all kinds.
Today, I drove from St. Paul back home to Madison, Wis. It seems to be fall in the Midwest, only along I-94, because all the trees near the highway were changing, but nowhere else. But that's not what's important. What's important is the great reunion-planning meeting we just had in St. Paul. I'm already excited. It's quite possible that the meeting eclipsed the excitement of my trip to IKEA to buy cute, Swedish furniture, and that was pretty exciting.
My Mac Memories: All the streaking stands out in memory at the moment. People streaking to the bell at midnight, people streaking midnight breakfast, the women's hockey team randomly streaking campus during finals with helmets on... that somehow becomes less socially acceptable as you get older.
