Reason: Hope to visit with some of the people I haven’t seen in 40 years.
I just started a new company, CHILL International, after being retired for 20 plus years.
Check out the website — www.chilltowels.com.
My Mac Memories: Too many to go into but I'm sorry Don Celender won't be there to share with us.

Reason: I not only get to reconnect with friends from a long-ago past, but I also meet interesting people who I never really knew back then.
I’ve been working as a legal aid lawyer for nearly 30 years, focusing on family law. I m currently in downtown St. Paul, and previously worked in offices in Winona and the St. Paul American Indian Center.
We were at Mac at a time of amazing change. Who could have guessed when we showed up with our girdles and white gloves in 1965 that everything would change in such a short time. I think that is why I really enjoy the reflections in our women’s gathering the night before the main reunion events. It is so interesting to think about who we were back then and what we all have experienced in our lives. We welcome all women to attend, whether or not you have been to one before.
Gail Einen was my roommate. I opened up the Minneapolis Star-Tribune a few months ago and saw her picture in the obituary section. Don’t wait too long to reconnect. Every year we lose a few more classmates.
My Mac Memories:
- Gail Einen ’69, Phyllis Walker ’69, Judy Rhodes ’69, Joan Aarvig ’69, Julie Christle ’69, Katha Ukena ’69 and all the rest of you on 2nd floor Wally — including those who went in and out of our window after hours...
- Working in England on SWAP, living with Jane Reister ’69, Karen Gerrity and Jackie Schwebke ’69 in Henley-on-Thames.
- Watching Debbie Shea run the college’s ancient plug-in switchboard in Wally.
- Mixing breakfast orange juice in a garbage can at 6 a.m. for the early breakfast at the new dining hall.
- Working dish crew in Wally with Peter and Dave and the others; putting down dish racks to walk on when the flooding got too bad.
- Live music in the coffee house in the basement of the library.
- Our whole freshman class, bigger than my entire high school, reading and discussing the same book.
