Scrapbook Submission Guidelines

When sending photos, please be sure to include caption information. A simple list of the photo filenames and captions works best. A good caption includes the names of those pictured, the activity or event, and the location.

For photos taken on a digital camera
E-mail to Nick Raleigh, attached to an e-mail or mail them in on CD. Compress the photos as little as possible. JPEG format is preferred. Avoid using online photo services provided by the camera's manufacturer (like Kodak or HP) to share photos.

For scanned photos
Scan color photos at 24-bit, 300 dpi. JPEG format preferred.
Scan black and white photos at 8-bit, 300 dpi. JPEG format is preferred.

For physical photos
Mail them to Nick Raleigh, College Relations, Macalester College, 1600 Grand Ave, St. Paul MN 55105. Be sure to clearly label each photo as yours, including a return address (a return address label works well).
