Take a moment to remember (or learn) the songs of your alma mater.
Sing the Mac Rouser now»
After five glorious years of retirement in Mexico — for reasons of family, finances, health, and Church — we have resettled into Senior Citizen housing in bucolic Cumberland, Wisconsin. I continue to do research, write, and make presentations on Orthodox village life in Eastern Europe, especially in Romania, and, on the more political side, I have been engaged most recently in Palestinian-Israeli issues. I am still blessed to be with Anastasia, my wife of 27 years.
My Mac Memories:
Most significantly I remember "Max" Adams making the Bible come alive, and "Ted" Mitau's passionate presentation of the political power pie.
I am now retired and was formerly director of social services at the Center for Victims of Torture. Lazy in retirement: enjoy reading, exercising, and travel. Daughters in Tempe, Ariz., and Washington, D.C. One granddaughter!
