Betty, my wife of 49 years, and I live in Denver, Colo., where I am employed by First Data Corp. as a business continuity planner. I have spent the last 48 years in the Information Technology profession, starting my career with IBM in Minneapolis followed by 25 years in Dallas, Texas, with Electronic Data Systems (EDS). We have enjoyed the last 17 years in Colorado thanks to a job transfer with EDS.

We feel most fortunate in that we enjoy the mountains of Colorado and the “Northern Minnesota-like setting” of our lake house in East Texas. It has become a gathering place for us, our four children and eight grandchildren — all of whom live in the Dallas area.
