I received an Associate in Science degree in Elementary Education in 1958. While teaching, I attended night classes and summer school to obtain my Bachelor of Science degree in 1960 from Macalester.

I am married to a wonderful husband, Norm, who is an engineer. We have a great family! Two children and five grandchildren. I taught 4th and 5th graders for 15-plus years and was also a resource teacher and substitute.  I did my graduate study at the University of Minnesota and the University of Colorado.

Traveled to 19 countries, Mexico and many states. I am involved in church, community, volunteer work and grandchildren while enjoying life in a small community living at the lake.
