My ‘Remember When’ stories:
· A lesson learned from Alan the artist
· Grandma and graduation
Retiring in 1999, after 41 years of teaching in high schools in Minnesota and California as well as at colleges in Kansas and West Virginia, Barbara — my wife of 42 years — and I drove our motorhome full-time around the United States and into the Canada maritime. In 2002, we settled in beautiful Bella Vista, Arkansas. Together, we are organic gardeners, avid NFL Steelers fans and readers. Barbara pursues health and cooking. I remain involved in Bella Vista Crime Watch, writing and practicing Tai Chi, which I have done daily for the past 20 years. I have taught a number of "Tai Chi for Seniors" classes. In November 2007, I published F MEANS FLOUNDERING: A guide to Becoming an Efficient and Effective Student available from iuniverse.com publisher. We spend some of our winters in Florida.
