My ‘Remember When’ stories:
· No Astronomy for me
I married Franklin Demcak a few days after graduation and taught kindergarten in Minneapolis the next year. Our first son was born in November 1959 and we moved to Monrovia, Calif., (near Los Angeles) in January 1960 where I still reside. Another son and daughter were born here. The younger two children are married and have given me five grandchildren whom I adore. My husband passed away from cancer in April 1991. My travels take me to Indiana and Idaho to see children and grandchildren and to Minnesota to see other family members. My life has been full with volunteering for church, Red Cross and YMCA.
