After graduating from Macalester Dorothy worked as a secretary for an aunt who was a chiropractor in Los Angeles, Calif.
She taught kindergarten for many years in Minnesota.
The summer of 1969 she spent six weeks teaching children, with learning difficulties.
She directed a day care center in Spring Park, Minn., for a number of years.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafts.
Dorothy never married.
She was always an active, creative person until her stroke.
She passed away very peacefully at the Dassel Lakeside Nursing Home on Feb. 23, 2005, one month before her 80th birthday.
Wishing you to have a great Reunion!
