John S. Lemke
Passed away in 1976

John and I met in 1955 at Macalester. Upon graduation, we married and moved to Richfield.
He began his career at Univac in the R&D department of computers. In 1966, now with two sons Bob and Tom, we moved to Phoenix. He worked with GE in the manufacturing of computers. He enjoyed being active with the boys’ athletic teams.
In 1976, tragedy struck with John being killed in a car accident. Our years in Phoenix gave us a community of support. The boys and I still live here. I have one grandson — Johnny Lemke.
