The continually “inherited hand” in bridge
Anyone remember playing bridge in the Grille between classes? At the bell, someone already in the game would give his/her bridge hand to a newcomer to continue playing the round until that person had to leave for a class, too. It was years before I found out how a complete game of bridge was played!
