I am having a ball with research and teaching at Tulane University as a member of the Chemistry Department and the Center for Bioenvironmental Research.
I will try to make the “big 50” — God willing.

I am still working as the director of the International Student and Scholar Services office at the University of Minnesota and still having fun. Working with college students, especially those from 135 different countries, keeps me at least "young at heart" and interested in what is going on in the world, although retirement is certainly looking more appealing. Probably won't be long before I say I am retired, too. I remain active in my professional association, NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and also find time to serve on the boards of Washburn High School Foundation and the Minnesota International Center. Still love traveling and the arts.
My Mac Memories:
I remember as a freshman, Betsy Kohl and I worked on the Homecoming float for Wally Hall. What a comical disaster that was! I also fondly remember Professors Mitau, Leinbach and Mink, the World Press Institute Seminars, studying hard, doing poorly in French while almost of my close friends were French majors, and selling SPANwiches to make money to go on my first trip abroad!
