Since Mac, I’ve had numerous interesting jobs - most recently working for the United Way of Rhode Island.
Met up again with Chris Watson ’91 back in 1999 via e-mail. Had a long distance romance and then I moved out here when we married in 2001.
We make our home in Bristol, Rhode Island — also home to the country's oldest and longest 4th of July Parade. If you're ever out this way around the 4th — you're welcome to stay with us and park in front of our house (parking being a precious commodity around parade time). We're close to the parade route and we grill up some pretty mean hotdogs and hamburgers to celebrate the festivities. You can also see the fireworks right from our back deck. Life is good. Maybe we'll see you in June...
My Mac Memories:
Everything — the people, the classes, great professors, the bad food at Saga, writing a paper during an all-nighter, late nights at Dunn Bros. and the St. Clair Broiler, movies at the Grandview, hanging out at the Hungry Mind (R.I.P.), studying and loafing around at Risimini's (R.I.P.), working long hours in the Mac theater, working and sleeping in the library, failing miserably at wheel-thrown pottery in the ceramics studio, Scottish Country Fair (R.I.P.), hanging out on the lawn during the beautiful Minnesota springtime, Spring Fest, bad French Fries at the Union, Reggae music galore, dances, off-campus parties at a house on Portland, a purple bong someone named "The Enterprise," lots of laughter, sometimes lots of tears, long walks to the Mississippi, everything.
