My roommates Al and Ted
By David L. McLaughlin
Rooming with Al Maxwell and Ted Spear was interesting and fun. Al rented a separate room in Kirk Hall for fun and games. We had the Jiffy Diaper Service team that played intramural basketball and flag football in the Twin Cities; we won the city championship one year beating the best team from the U. of Minn. I also remember the ham at the Green Mill. Fun times...
Friendly debates
By Gary H. Hickok
I remember intense political/philosophical discussions with fellow students Henry Ruf and Keith Gunderson, upperclassmen who treated me as one welcome at the round table of ideas and intellectual pursuit.
A friend made in Kirk Hall Section 9
By Paul A. Larsen
I stayed in Kirk Hall as a freshman, section 9. My first acquaintance was Bob Gubrud '59. Bob, we still have and use the wedding gift you and Rosie sent when Carol and I got married in 1963.
