Come to the Women's Gathering to interact with long time friends and women you have only just met. Listen, share your story, prepare to be inspired and renewed as we toast our continuing adventures in life! Over an elegant box dinner and wine, we'll listen to recent Macalester graduate Molly Brookfield ’09 recount her research on the evolution of feminism at our alma mater. After dinner, we'll self-organize into groups to consider the question "What's next in my life?" from the context of the paths we've taken since Macalester.

Class of 1965 Friday Gathering
Reunite with classmates at an evening reception and a discussion based on our class survey, “To Be Continued: The Stories We're Writing Now,” led by Sonya Anderson '65. As we continue to learn from each other, we will enjoy a fantastic dessert and menu including turkey club and Italian wraps, a vegetable tray, a shrimp platter, cheeses, salami and crackers, chips and dips, and cream puffs. Best of all, a chocolate fountain for dessert! The Class of 1965 is receiving this treat from the college because its Reunion Committee was the first one to reach 100 percent participation in its reunion class gift. The chocolate fountain will include strawberries, pineapple, orange slices, pound cake and pretzels for dipping. Cash bar.

Reunite with classmates while enjoying the bluegrass stylings of the Sans Souci Quartet. In addition to the standard beverages available at the cash bar, attendees will be able to sample select beer from Rush River Brewing Company and wine from Alexis Bailley Vineyard ($1 per sample). Reconnect with old friends and meet some new ones!

Class of 2000 Service Project
Join classmates from the Class of 2000 to volunteer at the Tour de Cure, a fundraising cycling event held nationwide in 43 states to help support the mission of the American Diabetes Association: To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Participants will primarily be helping with event clean-up responsibilities at the ride's start/finish at Minnehaha Falls.

Diane Allison and her puppet A one-woman, one-puppet, one-act play about Moses's sister written and performed by Diane Allison '70. Dawson won the Shinobi Award for "Most Ninjas in a Stage Play" in both 2002 and 2007 and has been repeatedly honored by Wells Fargo for achievements in outstanding debt. He will stage excerpts from scripts he may or may not have written while attending Macalester, and for which he can in no way be held legally responsible. Reservations required.
