I met my husband, Charles Turner '64, by sitting next to him in the weekly required convocation. I have wondered if others experienced a similar fate in that last year of alphabetized seating and (perhaps) required convocations.

I met my husband, Mike, at Mac in our senior year at the Old Green Mill. He had just returned from his military obligation to finish his senior year... He had attended Hamline previously. We married the next year during my winter break from teaching. We were married for 38 years before his untimely death shortly after 9/11 in 2001.
