Jack & Grace (Bremer) Lester
Jack and Grace had to evacuate
when Hurricane Ivan threatened last summer. They traveled to Minnesota
and North Dakota where they visited their children, grandchildren
and old friends. "We were a lot luckier than our Florida neighbors
as Hurricane Ivan missed us and we only had minor tree damage. Although
it was a little too exciting, we are still happy to be here, as
we love southwest Florida. I hope next summer will be more peaceful,"
wrote Grace.
Yvonne Hanson Sunnen
I have lived in the independent care section of Devon Manor in
Devon, Pa., for three years. I still have my 400-acre farm, which
is planted with soybeans. My daughter and son-in-law, Judy and George
Pierson, live nearby and have two children. Yvonne's son Eugene
owns a Molly Maid cleaning franchise in Oakland, Calif.
