Reunion Notes

Douglas Campbell

Douglas Campbell of Peoria, Ariz., enjoyed 30 years of teaching in South St. Paul Schools, and he's also enjoyed 20 years of retirement. He "loves golf and barbershop singing!"

Nancy Mohn Frantz

Nancy Mohn Frantz of Altoona, Iowa, sold her dog grooming shop, which she opened in 1979, and "almost retired" in 1997. Her time is now occupied with six grandchildren ages 17 and up and four great-grandchildren. Nancy also shows and trains dogs in obedience and agility, heading the County 4H Dog Project, and visits rest homes with the dogs. "Our life is a comfortable rhythm with enough time for varied activities to keep us active and engaged," she wrote.

Bill Morgan

Bill Morgan retired from St. Cloud State University, where he taught American studies and history, in 2000. He is now an adjunct at SCSU, teaching Minnesota history. Bill writes a monthly column on landmarks and architecture for the St. Cloud Times, and is also active in the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota and local preservation efforts in central Minnesota.

Elizabeth Bandy Thorne

After living in the Como Park area of St. Paul since 1955, Elizabeth Bandy Thorne sold her house to one of her four daughters and moved in with another daughter in Columbia Heights. "Moving after the death of my husband, Charlie, has provided time for new endeavors," Betty wrote. "I now volunteer at the local grade school and tutor for the Minnesota Literacy Council."

Bob Wrenn

Bob Wrenn of Tucson, Ariz., has a Web site where you can hear his jazz piano renderings. www.bobs-jazz.com

Cecil Ramnaraine

I have moved to Tamarac, Florida but still do free workshops and volunteer in schools. Anyone interested in peace and non-violence can download my courses for high school and grade school at www.CecilRam.com.
